Highlight on NBC's Approach to TPM:
- Review Maintenance Planning Process (annual and monthly) and Budget.
- Map and Evaluate Current Work Order Process (strengths and weaknesses) for breakdown - repair, project and PM work.
- Review Work Order backlog objectives, current amount and discrepancies.
- Analyze maintenance labor hour distribution per work type (repair, PM, building).
- Analyze maintenance labor hour distribution per equipment or process type.
- Evaluate downtime per equipment or process with reasons (min. - past 6 months).
- Perform day-in-the-life studies:
- For a maintenance technician
- For a maintenance supervisor
- Map and Evaluate the Current PM Program and PM attainment.
- Review scheduling and prioritizing of all maintenance work.
- Review spare parts inventory vs. need, the replenishment process and WOs on hold due to spare parts.
- Evaluate various TPM measurements for critical pieces of equipment (i.e. OEE - Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
- Perform a World Class Assessment of TPM.
